NASTAR recreational racing comes to Bear Valley this season with over 20 race dates planned. This program provides the opportunity for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and levels to compete with friends, family and other racers around the country. The NASTAR handicap system provides racers with a handicap number that represents their ability. Your will be able to see your stats and how you rank nationally on the NASTAR website. Based on performance racers can win medals and qualify to compete in the NASTAR National Competition each year.

To compete in NASTAR events you must register and receive a NASTAR registration number. You can register by clicking here. Once you are registered, you can sign up for individual races or purchase a season race pass.
SPECIAL DEAL….MID-SEASON NASTAR RACE PASS for all remaing races are available at the following rates:
- Youth 13 and under – $25.
- Teen/Adult 14+ – $50.
Individual races can be purchased at the NASTAR stand next to the Kiosk in the Sunroom on race days. Individual race price is $10 for 2 runs; $15 for unlimited runs.
All racers should check in for NASTAR races the morning of the race between 9:00 and 11:00 am at the NASTAR stand next to the Kiosk in the Sunroom. This will ensure you are on the start list for the day.
